Sunrise session in Worth Avenue

Thaimy and Amed have the sweetest love story — they met while in college as they both worked at the same fast food restaurant. They hit it off and have been together ever since!

After years of being together, on Christmas Eve 2023, Amed decorated their home with rose petals and candles and as they got back home from celebrating with family, Thaimy walked in to a “Marry Me” sign and Amed getting down on one knee asking to spend forever with her. She said yes and they are now in their official wedding planning era.

As part of this season, they wanted to get their love captured as fiancés! They reached out to me and we planned their dream engagement session in Worth Avenue in West Palm Beach. We nailed down their outfits and props for them to bring to their photoshoot and, on the day of their session, I have to say, it was incredible to see how in love these two are.

At the beginning of their photoshoot, Amed told me “Spencer, before we start, I do have to tell you, I am very awkward and camera shy so just bear with me and I apologize in advance.” To me, no one is ever really awkward, it’s just not second nature for us to be in front of a camera all the time, so I told him, “don’t worry, I will guide you and help you along the way!”.

As we proceeded with the session, I could just tell that their love radiated above all things and these two weren’t awkward at all (I mean seriously… Take a look at their photos below!). I found it so beautiful that they were both so gentle with each other and that throughout the photoshoot, Thaimy made it a point to encourage Amed and continuously mention how he was doing a great job and the photos would turn out amazing.

We got lost in the corners of West Palm Beach, from the streets to the beautiful archways and the gardens, where they pretended they were in a small province in Europe! Their love was infectious and so so evident in the photos we captured together. We ended their photoshoot with them celebrating their engagement by popping a bottle of champagne and cheering together!
