Intimate Wedding in Coral Gables
Getting ready at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami
Stephanie and DJ started off their wedding day by getting ready together! DJ helped Stephanie put her shoes on, while Stephanie fixed up DJ’s suit. We took the opportunity to take photos of them in their hotel room and throughout the courtyard. Eight of their family members were also staying at that same hotel and they all happened to be ready a bit before we all headed to the ceremony location, so I suggested taking a few formal family portraits then.

After the quick family portraits, we all headed to the ceremony. Stephanie and DJ decided to keep their guest list small and only invited their parents and siblings. And that’s what makes elopements some of my favorites to photograph: when you strip away everything else, what’s left is two people and what they mean to each other.
