Daevenia and Greg met several years back when they ran into each other at the park. Greg did some “internet research” and shot his shot via social media! They went on a date and, due to the pandemic, they were unsure of how things would pan out because she was going back home to the Netherlands and had no idea when she’d be back. She got back a few months later and they’ve been together ever since!

When Daevenia reached out to me, she told me she was looking for Miami Beach engagement photos for their wedding website and she emphasized that she wanted the photos to feel as natural and unstaged as possible.

At the start of their session, they both asked me, “Are we the most awkward people you’ve ever photographed?” This is a huge misconception that people tend to believe about themselves, but the reality is, none of us get our photos taken often enough to feel completely comfortable as soon as the cameras come out. It usually takes some time for us to not feel as nervous and I do everything in my power to make you feel at ease, stress-free and like you are just hanging with a friend.

These two NAILED it, though! So much for “being awkward”… Their photos came out stunning and the photos truly represent their love and how gentle they are with each other.
