I’m so grateful my business brings so many amazing and sweet people into my life. Nicki and Justin are two of the kindest souls and I enjoyed every bit of my journey with them — from their iconic engagement photos taken at the Sylvester Bar to their timeless, elegant wedding day at Casa Feliz, it was all so beautiful to see.
Driving up from Miami to Winter Park, I was so excited for Nicki and Justin’s big day — it felt as if I was on my way to watch two friends, who I’ve known for a really long time, tie the knot officially. And, in a way, that’s what I did — except I saw it all behind my camera lens.
Over each of my couple’s wedding planning process, I get so invested in them, their story, and their plans for the big day. I am not kidding when I say, I was in pure shambles at their first look and private vows —- hearing ring my couples profess their love for one another and take in the emotions of being only a few hours away from becoming one is such a beautiful thing that I don’t ever take for granted!
At the end of the night, when I said by to Nicki and Justin after their vintage getaway car photoshoot before their after party, I felt so nostalgic thinking through what it took to get them to this EXACT moment. It was bittersweet — I was ecstatic to see them married and a tiny bit sad that it felt like my journey with them was coming to an end.
Here’s to never ever taking my job for granted!!
