Open Field Engagement Photoshoot in Miami
Whimsical field engagement photoshoot in miami
When Natalie and Abelardo arrived at their engagement photoshoot location, after they greeted me, they gave me a huge disclaimer.. They said, “Spencer, we have to tell you… We are not photo people! We are very awkward in front of the camera and we don’t know how to pose so please be patient with us.”
In my opinion, this is how we all typically feel as soon as the cameras come out. It’s not common for us to take professional photos and I know how vulnerable it is to have someone photograph you and your partner.
Here are some tips I shared with these two before we got started:
Relax: Like I said, it is totally OK to feel nervous! Treat it like a date night and just enjoy each other’s company.
Trust me: I’ve photographed hundreds of couples and I will not withhold my guidance with you! My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible and give you tips throughout our time together. From hand placement to the one strand of hair that’s way out of place – I am here to help and make sure you look and feel good.
Be yourselves: If you want to kiss or embrace each other, do it! If you feel like laughing, there’s no need to hold it in. Being your natural selves will create the most authentic photos that will reflect how you two are on a daily basis.
Natalie and Abelardo’s photos were a DREAM! I mean, seriously, their photo gallery is filled with photos that look like romance movie stills.
